Our annual Lake Clean-Up is Saturday, June 22nd from 9am - 1pm, rain or shine.
WHERE TO GO:
Pick up your Captain’s Bucket with goodies and contractor bags from Shannon at Signal Ridge Marina by start of the clean-up.
WHAT TO DO:
Patrol the lake, pick up any trash, floating logs, dock”floats”, etc that you see.
New Trash Drop-Off Location: When you have a full load, bring it to the Pine Creek Ramp near Split Rail and past the public beach instead of the ramp nearest to the dam and Andrews Park. (See the image shown here for further clarification.) Volunteers will help you unload.
Remember please that anything attached to the shoreline by roots etc, cannot be removed, per Duke Power rules and regulations governing the lake.
A wonderful lunch will be served to all participants immediately following the event, from 1-3 PM at the Glenville Lake Club’s lakeside pavilion. The Glenville Lake Club is located just off NC 107, near Bluegill Lane. Look for their sign. A volunteer will direct you where to park.
See you on the lake !
