Calling all fun-loving, competitive boaters for the 5th annual Gala Boat Parade, sponsored by Friends of Lake Glenville in celebration of America's 250th birthday!
Gather your crew, register to participate, and get decorating! Use your imagination in choosing a theme to wow the pre-fireworks crowd gathered to celebrate Independence Day weekend. Bonus points for patriotic decor!
WHEN:
The 5th annual Gala Boat Parade takes place on Sunday, July 5th preceding FLG's Fireworks Over Lake Glenville.
Line-up is at 8pm and the parade starts promptly at 8:30pm.

WHERE:
Line up in front of The Point where the fireworks are shot from. The parade route starts on the west side of Lake Glenville, then cruises past Trillium's Lake Club before turning near L'il Switzerland and the private island.
Then cruise the east side of the lake along 107N before making the turn at Signal Ridge Marina for a 2nd pass. The judges' stand will be on Mountaintop's docks behind Hamburg Baptist Church, just before the Marina.

Text your Captain's name and phone number to Mollie Newman Hall at Mountainview Marine. You will be given a boat #, where to pick up your number, and other details.
